You have to be 13 to use this app

rlly complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. This app is for people aged 13+. Period. If you’re 12 (or younger), please don’t download rlly. Go outside and play kickball, read Diary of a Whimpy Kid (again), or Facetime your grandma. You’ll be 13 someday. Until then, enjoy being a kid. Also, your grandma might not be around forever--that's kind of a rough thing to say in a Terms of Service but it's true. We hope you enjoy her while you can.

The aim of rlly is to strengthen your relationships with people you already know in real life - by finding out who is like you. By enabling contacts, we’ll make it easy for you to invite your friends.

Right now while we’re in alpha, everyone in the app will see your first name and the first initial of your last name. (Soon we’re going to build in more privacy protections and mystery: only people who you have invited and they have accepted your invite OR they invited you and you accepted theirs. Everybody in this group will see your first name and first initial of your last name.)

The aim of this app is to strengthen the relationship between you and people you know in real life. When you tell us your school, we can identify (from among others using rlly) who is likely to be in your network …and who is not.

Send us a message to info@rlly.com and we’ll take a look at why your school isn’t on the list, it could be that we simply haven’t ‘turned on’ your school community yet.

Waitlisted means rlly has not been turned on for your school community yet. We have a waitlist of schools interested in launching rlly. If enough people at your school request it, we will try to bump you up in the queue and turn it on for you.

New questions come out 7 days a week, at 4:11pm local time.

The only people who will see your answers to questions are people YOU explicitly connect with as friends in the app. And even then, they will only see your first name and first letter of your last name (ie, Assaf P or Helen C).
